Fear, Isolation, and Calendars — 3 Comments

  1. Br. Guy — Thanks for drawing the wonderful connection between your scientific vocation and our basic human emotions. Just hearing an honest accounting is somehow simultaneously soothing and encouraging in these apocalyptic times. One of the must distressing aspects of 2020 is that even our bedrock assumptions of what is normal, proper and true are regularly being turning upside down or turned inside out. Science, properly understood and practiced, reflects our faith that behind this apparent uncertainty lies a deeper reality which, although we can never completely grasp, beacons us on.
