    I won’t go into any thoughts I had about planet “George” and possible Yankee sentiment/influence in changing the name to Uranus. But I still get a sophmoric school boy grin at the possiblities real or imagined.

    Seriously though, I hope teachers looking for African-American heroes will pick up on Benjamin Bannaker. I was completely ignorant of his existance and work. Thanks for the enlightenment!
    Our country is acutely in need of such information, as the proceedings of the last few days have made evident.
    And enjoy the Eclipse! We are preparing as well here in St. Louis!
